New York

Upper West Side

New York City is near and dear to me right now.

I just moved here New Years Day and even up to this point, it’s still so humbling whenever I tell people I live in The City. I’m currently living in the Upper West Side, somewhere wedged between Central Park West and Riverside Park. I am absolutely in love with the neighborhood. It has that perfect balance of residential manhattan and city life without being too overwhelming. You have access to bars like Jake’s Dilemma and Tessa on 73rd and Amsterdam meanwhile having a Shake Shack walking distance. There’s a vegan bakery around the corner, a used bookstore as well as a Barnes and Noble. You have the world famous Zabar’s grocery store, with Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods just a few blocks away not to mention a New York Sports Club right across the street.

I’m absolutely blessed to be positioned in such a gorgeous area and if you get the chance to visit NYC, UPW is definitely an area you can appreciate. It’s rich in jazz, art and music, but if it isn’t quite your scene, be sure also to check out:

Hell’s Kitchen
